What is Reiki?

Reiki is a gentle energy Practice that supports the body’s natural ability to regulate and restore itself. By creating a sense of safety and calm within the nervous system, Reiki allows tension to soften, emotional buildup to release, and balance to return naturally.

What a session feels like

There is no need to talk, explain, or try to relax - your body does that in it’s own time. Many people notice their breathing slow, their thoughts soften, and a sense of steadiness settle in. You may feel warmth, heaviness, or a gentle sense of support as your nervous system shifts out of constant alertness.

Sessions often support emotional release without needing to talk everything through, helping stored tension unwind naturally. People frequently leave feeling calmer, clearer, and more grounded in their body, with a nervous system that feels less on edge and more regulated.

Some also notice increased clarity around what’s next - not from forcing insight, but from feeling more settled and present within themselves.

Understanding Chakras

Chakras are often described as energy centers within the body, each relating to different qualities of our physical, emotional, and inner experience. Rather than something to “fix”, they can be thought of as areas where the body holds and processes information.

Think of the chakra system as a kind of energetic bloodstream. When things are flowing, the body feels more settled and supported. When flow is disrupted - often through stress, overwhelm, or long-term holding, we may notice fatigue, tension, or emotional heaviness.

In my work, I gently support all seven primary chakras using subtle, intentional tools such as sound, scent and Reiki energy. These elements aren’t used to force alignment, but to offer the body cues of safety and coherence, allowing balance to return naturally.
